Dr. Johansen is very knowledgeable, patient-focused, and caring, and he always has each patient’s best interest at heart. He is a very good listener and truly cares for each of his patients. We assure you that you are in good hands with him!
I recently moved to Chandler and I am in my 80s, and have a variety of dental experiences (most negative). Johansen Dental is the opposite of those experiences. This is the best dental experience I've had in my life! They were gentle and thorough while providing the dental care that I needed today. I am very grateful to have found Dr. Johansen and his staff. They are the last dentist that I will ever need!

The Johansen Dental team is professional, great at what they do, and very accommodating of people with a fear of the dentist. They administered nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help keep me calm. I came in yesterday for Root Planing on the right side of my mouth, and two cavity fillings (Apparently when you avoid the dentist for years, you may need a bit of a deep clean 😬). Amy was my hygienist, and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. She explained everything to me, validated what I was feeling, and was very patient. Dr. Johansen filled two cavities while I was already numbed up. He has a very calming presence, and I felt that I was in good hands. Overall, I am very impressed with the experience, and I’d recommend Johansen Dental without hesitation.
